Castellano This is Your Chance to Work with an Art Director!

Are you ready to tackle an assignment from the executive art director of Penguin/Random House? Giuseppe Castellano will take you through the journey of creating a new illustration, based on a prompt he will provide, to challenge illustrators to create a full portfolio-worthy illustration from a prompt he will give, sketch stage, with feedback, to completed work that Giuseppe will review during the webinar, followed by a short time of Q+A.


Only 30 registrants will have the opportunity to participate in the illustration process. Participants will receive their assignment on June 21st, with deadlines for sketches on July 21st,  and final art to be turned in October 2nd.


Those that are unable to participate in the illustration assignment can view the webinar at a reduced rate. 


The SCBWI Oklahoma webinar series is designed to help children's book writers and illustrators of all levels deepen their work, as well as provide new opportunities to members stretched out across the state . To that end, we're keeping the registration fee low to make sure the webinars are accessible to everyone.
